774 Community Solar Project
Light for Every Nigerian
Bringing clean, reliable solar electricity to every Local Government Area across Nigeria — starting with our Phase 1 pilot.
Long-term vision: £310M for full 774 LGA rollout
The challenge we’re solving
Millions of Nigerians still face unreliable electricity — affecting homes, schools, healthcare, small businesses, and community development. Families struggle, children's education suffers, clinics operate without stable power, and businesses lose income daily.
The 774 Community Solar Project was born to change that: clean, decentralized solar energy that empowers communities directly.
Local Government Areas (LGAs)
Full national ambition: one community solar station at a time, bringing light and opportunity.
Phase 1 Pilot: Proof & Trust
We start with a focused pilot target of £1,000,000 — to plan, install, and monitor pilot solar stations in select communities. This phase proves the model, measures community impact, builds trust, and prepares for expansion across all 774 LGAs.
The full national rollout requires approx. £310 million, but this campaign is laser-focused on launching the responsible first phase before scaling countrywide.
What Phase 1 funds support
- Solar panels & battery storage
- Inverters + electrical equipment
- Engineering, installation & technical setup
- Community distribution & metering systems
- Security, fencing & site protection
- Maintenance, monitoring & operational support
- Pilot solar stations + community engagement & local training
Reliable solar power can help
- Children study after dark
- Clinics & health centres operate safely
- Small businesses stay open longer
- Markets & community hubs become productive
- Families reduce reliance on generators & fuel
- Cleaner, more sustainable energy for all
Beyond Electricity — Creating Opportunity
This project is about more than power: it's about safety, education, healthcare, local enterprise, and building a brighter future.
Community-Led Development
Local training, engagement, and ownership means solar stations are managed by the communities themselves — creating jobs, technical skills, and long-term sustainability.
Economic & Social Multiplier
Stable electricity unlocks new businesses, after-school programs, vaccine refrigeration, digital hubs, and economic resilience for thousands of families.
Scalable National Model
After proving success in pilot communities, we replicate across all 774 LGAs — bringing sustainable energy to every corner of Nigeria.
“Every donation, whether small or large, brings us one step closer to launching the first pilot solar stations and building the foundation for a brighter Nigeria.”
Help us launch the pilot phase
The journey to reliable solar for all 774 LGAs starts with the first £1,000,000. Your support will directly fund pilot solar stations, training, infrastructure, and long-term monitoring. Together we can replace darkness with opportunity.
- Transparent impact reporting
- 100% of donations fuel pilot installation & community work
- Join a movement for clean, democratic energy
Every contribution counts — small donations scale into real solar infrastructure, lighting up clinics, schools, and homes.
Together, We Bring Light
From urban centres to remote villages, solar empowers communities, reduces emissions, and builds a resilient Nigeria. Phase 1 pilot is the spark. Join the movement for nationwide change.
Long-term vision: community solar for all 774 LGAs — clean, reliable, sustainable.
